Active ingredients of the dietary supplement:

• -Vitamin E: A naturally occurring antioxidant that protects cells from oxidative stress.
• -Selenium: an important micronutrient for the skin, which contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and protects cells from oxidative stress.
• -Zinc: a micronutrient that plays an important role in our body's physiology and vitamin A metabolism. Vitamin A is one of the most important vitamins that helps skin cells mature and move to the surface of the skin. This process opens the pores (a similar mechanism is used by isotretinoin treatment for acne-prone skin). Low levels of zinc in the body can be a contributing factor to acne.
• -Niacinamide (vitamin B3): A well-known and valued ingredient in anti-acne cosmetics and supplements. 4% niacinamide has proven its effectiveness in several studies, which have found that this substance is comparable to 1% clindamycin as a treatment for moderate Acne Vulgaris. Niacinamide soothes, moisturizes, reduces sebum production and pimples.
• -Superoxide dismutase (SOD): a naturally occurring antioxidant obtained from green tomatoes that helps reduce levels of cytokines that have been linked to acne (IL-1α, IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-α).
